Rental Policies
Reservations and Availability
Reservations are strongly suggested to ensure rentals, but are not always necessary depending on item availability. Please call for availability.
Identification & Payment
We require a valid drivers license and phone number on all rentals. All rentals require a credit card or open check for deposit.
Pricing
All prices are subject to change. Rental charges are based on time out, whether used or not. If equipment is not properly functioning you must immediately notify Sussex County Rental Center or credits and adjustments will not be made. We are not responsible for errors made by operators or errors due to unsuitable site conditions.
Cancellations
Cancellation period varies depending on the item. Please call for cancellation policy.
Damages
Renters take full responsibility for any and all damage caused by misuse, loss, theft, burglary, abuse, intentional/unintentional damages or damages caused by transporting.
Damage Waiver
Damage waiver (12% of rental rate) is available on most rental items. Damage waiver coverage is limited. Please check your contract.
Delivery and Pick-up
Delivery and pick-up rates vary by location. Please call for the charge.
Fuel
All equipment is sent out fully fueled and is to be returned full as well. Fuel charges will be assessed at time of return if tank is not returned full.
Tires/Rubber Tracks
Customers are held responsible for all tire or track damage and flats.
Equipment Malfunction
Mechanical problems must be reported immediately in case no one is available a 24 hour answering machine is on for your convenience.
Cleaning Fees
All rentals are sent out clean and are expected to be returned clean too. A cleaning fee will be assessed if rentals are returned dirty.
